Login management in Dibsido

This article explains how to manage login options for your users in Dibsido, including enabling or disabling login methods and integrating with SSO services like Microsoft Entra ID.

Steps to manage login options

  1. Navigate to login management:

    • Go to the "Settings" menu within the Dibsido app.

    • Select the "Users" section.

    • Click on the "Login Management" tab to access the login options.

  2. Select login options:

    • In the login management tab, you will see various login methods available for your users, such as email login, Google SSO, Microsoft SSO, and other SSO options.

  3. Enable or disable login methods:

    • Use the toggle switches next to each login method to turn on or off the access you want to allow for your company or workspace.

    • Disabling a login method will prevent users from using that method to log into the app. If you re-enable it later, users will need to reconnect their external accounts to Dibsido.

Optional: Add SSO integration (Microsoft Entra ID)

  • SSO integration: If your company uses Microsoft Entra ID for Single Sign-On (SSO), you have the option to add this integration within the login management tab.

  • Setup: Follow the prompts to set up the Microsoft Entra ID integration, allowing users to log in using their Microsoft Entra ID credentials. This provides a seamless and secure login experience, particularly for organizations that use Microsoft services extensively.

Important notes:

  • Re-enabling login methods: If you decide to re-enable a previously disabled login method, users will be required to reconnect their external accounts (e.g., Google, Microsoft) to the Dibsido app to regain access.

  • Customizing access: By managing these login options, you can customize the security and accessibility of your Dibsido workspace, ensuring that login methods align with your organization’s policies and preferences.

Login management in Dibsido allows you to control how your users access the platform, offering flexibility in security and integration options to meet your company’s needs.
