What are credit-free reservations?
Credit-free reservations enable specific parking spots to be booked without affecting the user’s monthly credit allocation. This feature is particularly useful for managing spaces like visitor parking, EV charging stations, or reserved spots that should be freely accessible without limiting the number of times they can be booked.
Steps to set up credit-free reservations for parking spots
Navigate to parking settings:
Go to the "Settings" menu within the Dibsido app.
Select the "Parking" option to view your existing parking zones.
Choose the parking spot:
In the parking settings, locate the parking zone containing the spot you want to make credit-free.
Click on the edit button (represented by a pen icon) next to the specific parking spot you wish to configure.
Enable credit-free reservations:
In the parking spot editing window, look for the option labeled "Disable Credits" or similar.
Toggle the switch to "On" to activate the credit-free reservation feature for this specific parking spot.
Save your changes:
After enabling the credit-free option, click "Save" to apply the changes.
When to use credit-free reservations
Visitor or Guest Parking: If you have parking spots designated for visitors or guests, making these spaces credit-free ensures they can be booked without impacting the employee’s monthly credit allowance.
EV Charging Stations: For companies that encourage the use of electric vehicles, making EV charging spots credit-free can promote the use of these spaces without penalizing users who need to charge frequently.
Reserved Company Spaces: If certain parking spots are reserved for specific purposes (e.g., executive parking, shared company vehicles), making these spots credit-free allows them to be used as needed without counting against the employee's credits.
